Neurodivergence Vinod Nair is Autistic with Asperger's Syndrome. His condition is characterized by limited emotional bandwidth, hyper sensitivity, limited sensory capacity, masking, difficulties in social interactions, inability to make small talk, inability to understand irony/ sarcasm/ facial expressions/ tone and a tendency to take statements literally.
Vinod has an IQ of 163. He is gifted with hyperfocus, high function, depth, meticulous attention to detail, ability to get to the core of issues and pattern identification.
Vinod attributes his number crunching skills and success as an investor to his autism. He uses breath work for stability and prefers meditation over medication. Learning, crunching numbers, trail running and the stock market remain his favorite escapes.

Vinod was born and raised in Mumbai, India. An undiagnosed autistic, he struggled to keep pace with life through his school years. He was bullied, did not participate in extracurricular activities or sports, kept mostly to himself avoiding social interactions.
Vinod's pivot began at 17 when he discovered his life long passion of running. By 19, he was an accomplished athlete, student editor of his college magazine and a serious contender in debates. While he gained confidence, his autism persisted undiagnosed leaving him confused, ashamed and inadequate.

Yogi
A Siddhi Yogi practising Nyan and Bhakti Yoga, Vinod is a student of BKS Iyengar with a special love for breathwork. He is also an International Yoga Alliance certified Yoga teacher based out of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

His commitment to helping others reach their full potential drew Vinod into the world of coaching immediately after a brief five year stint in the army which he left as an infantry Captain. Vinod spent over three decades traveling the world as a Coach. His clientelle is enviable. Vinod credits his success in finance and consulting to his Autism.

Pride of Lions
Times of India took a leap of faith when they published Pride of Lions by Vinod Nair in 2012, it was their first fictional venture. It paid off, Pride of Lions was a runaway success through 2013.
Pride of Lions is in a war setting. It addresses issues like the caste system, corruption and ownership. The philosophical and spiritual questions asked are deep, the battle sequences are graphic and relentless. Pride of Lions keeps the reader short of breath.
In 2014 a movie deal was struck for the book. While we still await the movie, the book continues to sell over a decade later.
